YAS MARINA TRANSFORMS AND REOPENS ITS NEW VIBRANT DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT
Seven new licensed food and beverage outlets, charter boat experiences, 192 berth marina and a full events calendar – all located in the heart of Yas Island
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 22nd October 2013. Yas Marina, operated and managed by Camper & Nicholsons Marinas, today announced the official opening of its expanded dining and entertainment district comprising of seven new licensed restaurant outlets and facilities. The new Yas Marina is now open to the public and will host numerous events and activities leading up to Abu Dhabi’s 2013 Race Week.

We believe the addition of some new casual licensed and affordable dining options, combined with some fantastic lounge concepts will be a great addition to Abu Dhabi’s dining and entertainment options, whilst complimenting what is already on offer both at Yas Marina and Yas Island. ”
In time for the Abu Dhabi Race Week, these seven new food and beverage outlets are open and fully-operational and include: sunset lounge Iris, Spanish tapas bar and restaurant Diablito Food & Music, French-German bakery Café d’Alsace, Lebanese restaurant Rozanah, and Seafood restaurant Aquarium. The new outlets are joined by existing outlets Stars ‘N Bars, an American style sports bar which has also gone through a makeover and a new look Cipriani, the marina’s Italian fine dining restaurant.
Along with the new dining and entertainment options, the new development caters to a variety of other visitor interests. MTM Marine offers sailing and nautical apparel which will soon be featured in a new showroom on the ground floor. SNS Marine will sell new and used high quality performance boats – many of which will no doubt feature in the award-winning super yacht marina’s capability to berth 192 permanent yachts, ranging from 8 to 90 metres with both track-view berths and visitor berths for mega yachts of up to 150 meters.
Yas Marina visitors will also get to enjoy picturesque views of the island. From a charter perspective, guests can experience a breath taking aerial excursion with the Seawings seaplane tour, charter along the coastline with Azure Marine’s 24 meter wooden Turkish Gulet or enjoy a sunset cruise with Captain Tony’s private or shared charters.
This combination of licensed restaurants, scenic landscaping, charter experiences and new pedestrian areas reflects Yas Marina’s evolution into a day to night destination for people of all ages.

From now to the end of the year, we will showcase a diverse calendar of sporting, lifestyle, musical and cultural events along the promenade – in addition to the Abu Dhabi Race Week.”
Yas Marina transpires as the social centre of Yas Island attracting guests via sea, land and air as it provides the ideal base to explore Yas Island and its growing list of attractions. The entertainment destination will introduce events for all groups starting from the 8th November such as:
Ladies Night: Every Wednesday night from 7 to 9pm, ladies can enjoy unique, signature cocktail from each of the 7 restaurant outlets.
Sunsets @ Yas: Every Thursday a number of outlets at Yas Marina will have a happy hour between 5-8pm. Starting at 7pm, there will also be live music performances at select Yas Marina restaurants including DJ Rob Anthony at Stars ‘N’ Bars, a Mojito Sun Splash live DJ at Diablito and various guest bands at IRIS.
Film Fridays: Every Friday from 7 to 9pm, the entire family can enjoy an outdoor movie night at Yas Marina.
Yas Marina Market: Every Saturday from 10am to 2pm, Yas Marina offers a market offering handicrafts, jewelry, clothing and gifts as well as local produce.
In addition, during the 2013 Race Week, Yas Marina will kick start the celebration with a full range of activities that include:
Yasalam at Yas Marina: Live music performances and family-style activities from 24 to 25 October. Access to Yasalam will be free of charge. Berthing will be complimentary to those with berthing packages from 24 to 27 October.
Amber Lounge Abu Dhabi: The place to see or be seen during Race Weekends – offering a blend of Middle Eastern culture with exclusive live performances and international DJ sets. Amber Lounge will be located on level 2 of the Cipriani building.
Mobile Nail Bar: A portable Nail Bar for ladies to pop by for a quick touch up, manicure, pedicure and mini-massage whilst enjoying the Race Week spirit.
